The path to beatification
About Venerable Father Cimatti
"Rather than being loved, it is better to love." Father Cimatti bore witness to the love of Christ with music and a smile in Chofu. Father Cimatti was recognized as a "Venerable" in 1991, and we now need his intercession to send "witnesses of grace" so that he can be canonized as a "Blessed."
What is the beatification movement?
The path to beatification: For Venerable Father Cimatti to be blessed, the miraculous graces he has achieved through his intercession must be officially recognized by the Vatican.
Our mission: To praise the priest's virtues together with people from all over the world, join in prayer, and expand the "circle of veneration" for his beatification.

Reports of blessings and collections of miracles
The most important factor in the evaluation of beatification is the record of the "healing" and "help" received through the priest's intercession.
Request for reports: Please send in any blessings you have experienced, such as "I got better from an illness" or "I received miraculous help in a difficult situation." Each of these will be valuable information for beatification.

Advice for filling out the form: There is no need to hesitate, wondering if something so small is enough. Small everyday blessings such as "I feel lighter in my heart" or "I received help that seems more than coincidence" are also important evidence that the priest is still with us. Please submit your message in your own words.

[Regulations for reporting blessings through intercession]
Purpose: The purpose of this form is to collect testimonies of graces received through the intercession of Venerable Father Vincenzo Cimatti, and to use them as material for the beatification investigation.
Information Management: The personal information you provide will be strictly managed by the Catholic Chofu Church and the Salesian Cimatti Museum and will not be used for any purpose other than promoting the beatification movement.
Regarding disclosure: If we publish testimonials on our website or in booklets, we will always obtain the prior consent of the individual and will take privacy into consideration (such as anonymizing names).
Provision of documents: During the review process, the secretariat may ask you to confirm details or provide documents (medical certificates, etc.).

Father Don Bosco's House
Don Bosco was the founder of the Salesian Society and a saint whom Father Cimatti regarded as his "father" throughout his life. Don Bosco's spirit, which said, "It is not enough to just love young people; you must love them so that they know they are loved," took root in Japan through Father Cimatti and still lives on in our hearts today.
